Kate challenges Professor Elliott who claims that dyslexia is a myth!
Kate Griggs, founder of Xtraordinary People went on GMTV this morning to challenge Professor Julian Elliott over his comments which appeared in The Times on Monday. Professior Elliott, who is an educational psychologist at Durham University, says that he has found no evidence to identify dyslexia and believes it should simply be rediagnosed as a reading difficulty. Judging by the avalanche of e-mails and telephone calls received by the XP office and at the offices of the BDA (British Dyslexia Association) today, there are a lot of people who take issue with Professor Elliott's view!
